Equipping God’s People to care through a Listening and Prayer Ministry

Thursday and Friday 22nd / 23rd May 2008
2 Day Residential course held at Mulberry Pastoral Centre

Facilitated by the Mulberry Pastoral Team, the course will include:

• Basic skills training for anyone considering work in areas offering advice, listening, support and guidance.
• Introducing and exploring the fundamental skills needed to provide quality service in a listening ministry.
• Role plays re-enacting typical real-life situations
• For anyone who has a heart to care and pray for others
• Suitable for those who are interested in becoming volunteers to work on a telephone helpline/prayerline
• An opportunity to enhance already existing skills.
• Ideal refresher course for anyone currently involved in a listening ministry.
• Particular emphasis given to telephone helpline skills.

Cost including meals, refreshments, overnight accommodation, handout notes - £130.00
Course commences 9.00am Thursday and concludes 4.00pm Friday
